Holla Freelancers! Who said that Freelancing is boring? We, at Truelancer are always looking for opportunities to make Freelancing more exciting and better than ever. What could have been better than a naughty April Fool’s prank?

So we did it!

We sent out an email to all our users notifying them that an amount of $142,016 (That’s 01/04/2016 in DD/MM/YYYY Format) has been added to their Truelancer Wallet this morning. If you missed it, have a look here.

Now that you got this notification, you absolutely would like to check your Truelancer Wallet to see what is wrong! And when the users checked their Truelancer Wallet, to their amaze, they found that their Truelancer wallet has been credited with $142,016. Here, have a look how their Wallet looked like:

And now that the users had so much money in their Truelancer Wallet, they would of course rush to withdraw these funds in their Bank Account/Paypal. And that’s when they encounter the reality that they have been pranked! Although, some users called our support numbers or emailed us notifying us that something is wrong with their account and they have received such an email. Our support staff politely told them, that it was just an April Fool’s Day Prank and there’s nothing to worry about.
