Ramadhan Omar – Kicked Start as a Beginner Freelancer.

Continuing with our series of featured Freelancers, today we are proudly presenting to you Ramadhan Omar, one of our popular freelancers who started freelancing last year. 1.When did you start freelancing and what inspired you?

January 19th, 2021, is when I began my journey as a freelance writer, and I have learned many things since then. I have learned a lot about myself. What inspired me to become a freelance writer was a deep love of writing that personified everything else I’ve ever done in my life. Writing has become not only a job for me but also a way of life that I am proud of. I usually create several blogs every day in which I write about a variety of topics that range from business, health, and finance to entertainment and technology. Writing makes me proud, and not only because it allows me to build a good source of income and live my dreams. It also allows me to use my writing skills and share them with the world.

2. How long have you been a freelancer?

For the past sixteen months, I’ve worked as a freelancer, and I’ve found it to be worthwhile. Truelancer has always been there for me as a freelancer, and I’m grateful to them for that. Client-based communication has allowed me to meet deadlines and receive payment for the work I’ve completed in a timely fashion.

3. What do you like the most about Writing?

Writing allows one to create something beautiful and meaningful for themselves and others, which is what I enjoy most about it. To me, writing is a way to escape reality, create new realities, and connect with real people and places in incredible ways. It has not only allowed me to meet some of the most amazing people, but it has also taken me on some of the most captivating adventures of my life. Make writing part of your life too, and you’ll never regret it!

4. What are the most important skills required as a freelance writer?

As a freelance writer, you need to uphold certain skills in order to be successful. 

• First, be professional. The way you approach clients, establish communication, and carry out projects should be done efficiently. 
• Secondly, you need to be reliable. Your clients need to be able to trust you and rely on you at any given time. 
• Thirdly, stay determined and persistent.

 Having been in the freelance writing field long enough, I have learned that success always comes with hard work. Always create your goals and stay committed to them. Lastly, make sure you can speak and write English effectively. English acts as an international language that will connect you as a writer with a network of clients around the globe. These are just a few of the points that will help you become a successful freelance writer.

5. What are the challenges you have come across in your freelancing career?

One of the biggest challenges I faced when I first started freelancing was overcoming my own fear. Fear of not being able to accomplish a certain amount of work in a given time period however, I was able to overcome this challenge within a short period of time through constant practice and determination. Another challenge I have faced is working with unreliable clients. It happened before with clients who promised me regular work, but didn’t deliver, and this became a problem when it came to scheduling my work time and keeping my work efficiency high.

Always nurture your writing skills the right way. Ensure that you handle projects with priority, perform extensive research, and keep an eye out for the quality of the output. Your clients will be happy to work with you again if you produce high-quality content based on their requirements!
