Event Highlights and Photographs

The Event was kick-started by Dr Aditya Dev Sood (Chief Mentor, Startup Tunnel) with an introduction to the Event and Startup Tunnel.

 

 

This was followed by the keynote by Mr Annurag Batra (Editor-in-chief & Chairman, BW Businessworld ). Mr Batra motivated the young entrepreneurs and talked about how important role ambitions and failures both play in building a success story. He asserted that even if one doesn’t gets any outcome out of an attempt, one always gains one key thing – Experience! The Experience gained out of successive failures act as stepping stones and finally lead to Success. He kept the audience engaged by showing short witty videos to further bolster his assertions.

 

 

The keynote session was followed by a very interesting and engaging note by Mr Harsh Agarwal (Professional Blogger and Entrepreneur). Harsh talked about how publishers and bloggers can leverage the power of Affiliate Marketing and earn thousands of dollars just from Affiliate Marketing. The key to Affiliate marketing is building a strong Network of content distribution channels.

 

 

The next session was by very charming and very knowledgeable Ex-Googler, Ms Ritika Sanghi (CEO, Atlogys Technical Consulting) and she discussed about how one should not only sell technology but the entire experience. She explained how one can grow one’s business by tapping the network of their clients and by giving the customers a pleasant experience while catering to their technological needs. She revealed that Patience, Passion, Comfort, Commitment and Etiquette are the five core soft skills and impeccable in a service industry.

 

 

This session was followed by a short tea break as the attendees were too saturated with the knowledge laden sessions. The tea, coffee and snacks were arranged in the lush green lawn of Vihara Innovation Campus where Startup Tunnel is situated. Attendees also enjoyed taking photographs in front of the photo booth which was placed near the lawn.

 

 

 

The session was resumed by Ms Sanjukta Barauh (Sr Strategic Account Manager, Payoneer) as she introduced the audience with Payoneer and how it helps Businesses get paid online.

This session was followed by an interesting panel discussion on the topic, “Monetizing the Data & your Network”. The panel included Mr Ankit Oberoi (Co-founder, AdPushUp), Ms Parul Bhargava (CEO, vCommission Media Pvt Ltd), Mr Aayush Srivastava (Co-founder, Amicus) and the panel moderator Mr. Jitendra Vaswani (Payoneer India Brand Ambassador).

 

 

This discussion was followed by a presentation by Mr Dipesh Garg (Co-founder, Truelancer). In his talk, he talked about how people can sell services online and build reputation on freelance marketplaces like Truelancer, which will in turn attract more and more sales for them. He also unveiled a much awaited feature of Truelancer.com – Contests. Just like real Contests, you can conduct a Contest on Truelancer and call up for various entries from hundreds of Freelancers on Truelancer to participate and send their entries. You select the best entry and pay only for that entry.

Dipesh’s session was followed by the another interesting Panel discussion on the topic “Startup Ecosystem in India”. The panel comprised of Mr Girish Shivani (Fund Manager, YourNest Angel Fund), Mr Amit Mishra (Country Head, F6S India) and the session was moderated by Dr Aditya Dev Sood (Chief Mentor, Startup Tunnel). Dr Aditya kept this session engaging by his witty yet precise questions.

 

 

We promised to end this Event at a sweet note therefore we had a Networking Cocktail Party all staged up in the beautifully decorated lawn of Vihara Innovation Campus. Young Entrepreneurs work hard and party harder which clearly reflected in their enthusiasm at the dance floor and of course at the Bar counter.
