Building Truelancer 2.0 – Bigger, Better, Safe & Secure

Hello Truelancers,

Before I start telling a few important things, I will like to “Thank You”. I thank each and every member of Truelancer Network, all Freelancers and Customers.

YES!. All of us at Truelancer Office are busy building Truelancer 2.0 – Bigger, Better, Safe & Secure.

Here I am listing few changes we are starting to roll out and we will continue doing so over the next few weeks.

Making Mobile Numbers Unique: From now onwards, all users of Truelancer will be allowed to connect only one mobile number with each profile. (This will help keep Truelancer Safe with people creating duplicate accounts and taking jobs away from sincere freelancers who give every effort to build their profile with 5 star ratings and feedbacks.)
Compulsory Mobile Number Verification: Going forward, all users (both clients & freelancers) will be required to verify their mobile number to continue using Truelancer services ( website and mobile apps ). This will help us keep fake clients away and spammers out of Truelacer.
Blocking Clients Posting Jobs but NOT HIRING: We will start blocking accounts of clients who regularly post jobs but do not hire freelancers and do not award jobs. This will ensure Genuine & Active Clients hire expert freelancers. More High-quality jobs for all freelancers.
Blocking Freelancers sharing contact details and taking projects outside Truelancer: All Truelancer’s put a lot of effort to build their profile and get 5-star feedback from clients. Yet there are many who take projects outside Truelancer.
Our automated systems and the team will start taking strict actions for all such freelancers.
This will help freelancers who regularly work on Truelancer and deliver high-quality projects to clients.
Better Communication Tools: We will be updating our mobile app and website to ensure clients and freelancers can communicate fast, easily and securely.
Update to Ranking Algorithm: We will be updating our Freelancer Profile Ranking Algorithm to reward freelancers who regularly complete Projects and deliver to clients with 5-star rating. All freelancers should ensure you ask your client to give feedback and rating after completing projects.
Freelancers who deliver projects late will be penalized and their raking will be negatively affected.
Implementing Machine Learning: We will start using Machine Learning to prevent & block SPAM Jobs, FRAUD Clients and make Truelancer Safe & Secure Freelancing Website.
