Tell us about yourself. 
My name is Jay Poojara and I am from Gujarat. Coding and development is not just my Job it’s my passion. I had completed my degree education (B.E. IT ) in 2015 from GTU, I was doing coding from my college time. Coding is something which always fascinates me. I have been working with different types of clients from past 4 years. I am having a rich experience of 4 years in Android and Laravel web development. I strongly believe in one thing,
“Time is money.”

Why and when did you start freelancing?
I started freelancing from September 2014 as part time freelancer, to get some extra money. And then from December 2015 I started working as full-time freelancer and I left my job.
What do you like about being a freelancer?
There are numerous things that I like about being a freelancer:
1. Flexibility in working hours
2. No more leave reports
3. Learning new things as per project requirement
4. Meeting so new people from different regions of the world.
5. We can control our workload and anytime we can take the break.
6. Best thing, no politics
7. We can learn something new like Stock market 8. And anytime I can play games on my PS4 (This is my favourite one)
What are the challenges you have found in your freelancing career?
To find the first project when you are fresher is always a tough job. Nowadays there are so many freelancers are there. So, how can we differentiate between them is the main thing in freelancing career. My First project was not big in terms of price but later on, I build my portfolio and now I am able to get projects. For the first time, it is always tough to convince the client. Because we don’t have any portfolio or 5-star rating. But once you’ll get it, it would be easy to get other projects.
What according to you does it take to be a successful freelancer?
According to me, this is some points which can be helpful:
1. Master of one, jack of all.
2. Good communication skill
3. Regular Update
4. On time delivery
5. The clear understanding of the requirements
6. Open minded approach to learning new things
7. Always Stay updated
