With the current rise of cyber terrorism, Internet freedom across the world has taken a blow. Invasion of personal privacy is growing as more and more governments are tapping into the internet and monitoring almost everyone they can.

Although there are still countries which provide their nationals with a high level of Internet Freedom, the number of countries where this freedom is decreasing at an alarming rate are more, especially those in Africa and those plagued by terrorist activities on a regular scale.
